“Johnny Mad Dog” is both punishing and disorienting. The boys’ childish attire — butterfly wings here, a fright wig there — only emphasizes their breathtaking viciousness,

ravishingly captured by Marc Koninckx’s anxiously spasming camera.

The clarity and beauty of the imagery, courtesy of the talented director of photography Marc Koninckx, is perhaps even more startling than the actions of these boys, but it serves more purposes than one.   Filmcritic.com

The cinematography (by Marc Koninckx), when you have time to stop and notice, is often extraordinary, with some of the citiscapes as breathtaking as the verdant countryside.

Marc Koninckx impresses with some breathtaking visuals and quaint angles, as does dialogue writer R N Joe D'Cruz with the fisherman lingo and some crisp lines.

Acting is one of the highlights of the film with Farhan, Purab and Arjun in particular, being extremely effective. Marc Koninckx’s cinematography is remarkable and deserves a special mention as well.

Belgian cinematographer Marc Koninckx has captured the characters' inner and outer worlds with the minimum of ostentation even when the band is on stage performing with a subtle swagger that leaves us hankering for more. ~ Economic Times

‘The cinematographer Marc Koninckx’s has captured the beauty of the North East majestically. It makes us wish to pack our bags and head to the hills.’

The breathtaking cinematography by Marc Koninckx takes the film to a higher level. This is one reason why you must watch the movie in big screen.
